MeRT, which stands for Magnetic Resonance Therapy, is a highly customized use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or TMS, based on sophisticated diagnostics. It is a non-invasive, painless, and drug-free option for the treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions.

MeRT protocols start with a quantitative EEG or qEEG. The qEEG allows us to see patterns of dysfunction that identify varying disorders of the brain, such as learning and behavioral issues, emotional disorders, brain injury, and others. The qEEG done on each patient provides us with a map that guides each individually tailored treatment.

The equipment used for treatment with MeRT is FDA-cleared. It generates magnetic waves that allow us to gently stimulate specifically targeted areas of the brain. THE FOUR STEPS TO MERT

  • EVALUATION

Before starting any treatment, a qEEG and an EKG are taken of the client. These diagnostic tests are used to determine brain frequencies and brain-heart coherence. The qEEG shows the team patterns of dysfunction that identify varying disorders of the brain, such as learning and behavioral issues, emotional disorders, brain injury, and others. The qEEG done on each patient provides the map that guides each individually tailored treatment.

  • ANALYSIS AND TREATMENT PROTOCOL

The Company uses a scientific and patented analysis of the data gathered. A tailored treatment plan is created for each client with the goal of restoring function and brain communication.

  • MeRT TREATMENT

Once treatment protocols are in place, clients will come for daily treatment, five days per week. While comfortably seated, a trained neuro-technician will apply a magnetic coil to a designated location on your head. This device produces a low-intensity magnetic field to induce mild electrical signals in the brain’s targeted areas. Clients feel no pain — just a mild sensation. Daily treatment duration is typically 30 minutes, with the magnetic stimulation occurring for six to eight seconds every minute.

  • PROGRESS EVALUATION

After each two-week treatment period, the Company performs a new qEEG and EKG to monitor progress and update the protocol if needed. To achieve optimal success and durability from MeRT, six to eight weeks of treatment is recommended
